The mandatory ACT test for all Juniors has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 19th. All Juniors need to be present for the test on Tuesday, April 19th. There will be classes for all grades (K-12) as scheduled on Tuesday, April 19th with a 12:00pm dismissal because of our JH Franklin Track Meet. Update: Tuesday, March 22nd - NO SCHOOL. Due to deteriorating conditions, Franklin Public Schools is now closed. All activities and events will be cancelled. The Juniors ACT test will be rescheduled at a later date.

Update Tuesday, March 22nd  FPS Now Closed
Due to the current weather conditions Franklin Public Schools will have a 10:00am late start today, Tuesday, March 22nd. Busses will run accordingly. No Morning Pre School class. All Juniors (11th grade) and our elementary students (Grades K-6) will have school at 10:00am.

Reminder: Students in 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12th grade do not have school on Tuesday, March 22nd due to the mandatory statewide ACT testing for ALL Juniors. ALL Juniors and Elementary Students will have class and need to report to school on Tuesday. Thank you.

ACT Testing
FPS Actions Day at Central Community College in Hastings. This is a scholastic event in which high school students can take up to 3 tests in 40 different subject areas. The following students received an award for the following subjects. Photo 1: Evan Kolami - 4th Place, Algebra 1, Trace Bislow - 4th place, World Geography, Gregory Boettcher - 4th place, General Math, Matthew Ayres - 2nd place, Sports, Bethany Haussermann - 3rd place, Spelling. Photo 2: Tavin Uden - 1st place, Agriculture, Grant Kahrs - 3rd Place, Algebra 1, Titus Maring - 1st place, Nickname, Emily Rutt - 4th place, Drama, and Tucker Rose - 2nd place, Algebra 1.

Child Development is studying physical developmental milestones in early elementary aged children. We went to observe, and got to help teach basketball fundamentals to one of the elementary PE classes.
