Attention Parents of a High School Football Player, we have scheduled a preseason Football Scrimmage for Friday, August 28th starting at 5:00 pm. With this scrimmage being held outside, we will not be limiting who can attend, but we do ask that you please respect the current DHM of 6 feet of physical distancing, and keep your children within your family group and not running around the field. PROM 2020 - With COVID restrictions being lifted, The Junior Class of Franklin High School is currently working on plans for a 2020 Prom. Prom is being planned for Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Minden Opera House. However, this year's prom activities are only open to Juniors, Seniors, and the 8 sophomore servers as well as their dates. More information regarding prom will be released to those students eligible to attend in an upcoming mailing. This mailing will include how to RSVP and how to sign up an outside date. Below is a tentative schedule. 5:00pm - Students will arrive at school 5:30pm - Students will load school buses and depart for Minden Opera House. ***All students will be required to use school transportation. 6:30pm - Dinner at Minden Opera House Pictures will follow dinner by Sara Cline 8:00pm - 11:00pm - Dance Students will return to the school. *All students will be required to use school transportation to and from the Minden Opera House.

Franklin High School Graduation is this Saturday, June 20th starting at 10:00 am. For those that are not able to be in attendance the graduation will be live streamed to our school's Facebook page. Seniors will need to please park in the student parking lot and arrive by 9:00 am, you will be admitted in the activities entrance. Parents and Families please park in the front parking lot and we will ask that you enter through the front doors. Finally, please remember that each family is only allowed 5 guests, and only those with tickets will be admitted. Everyone who has a ticket will be required to sit with their families ticket, and will leave with their family. Thank you, for everyone's patience and Saturday will be a Great Day to Be A Flyer.

One Final Shout Out. Parent's if you have not filled out the Remote Learning Planning Survey Online, please do so by Saturday, as this is when the survey will close. Everyone also received a paper copy of this survey with report cards, we only need your feedback from one format either Online (due by Saturday), or via Paper/Pencil (please get it to us ASAP. We have had many of our parent's respond and please know that we truly appreciate you taking the time to do this. Your feedback will go a long ways to helping us working on back up plans for next school year. Remember that we are planning and hoping to start school normally in the fall, the information you are providing us is just so we can work on these back up plans should the Federal, State or Local Government require us to close down school during the 2020-2021 school year. Finally, please note that as we compile the information from these surveys it is vital that we know who you child is and what grade they are in.
