Reminder that Power School updates tonight. Parents and students must follow the directions below before using the PowerSchool app after the update.
1. After the update, Parents and Students must log into PowerSchool SIS through the public web portal before logging in through the mobile app.
2. Logging into PowerSchool SIS through the public web portal will allow users to make any necessary settings changes required after the update.
3. Once any changes are made you will be able use the PowerSchool app again.
If the user has first logged in via mobile, they will receive an error message that the related email is “already in use” and the account will lock.
Contact Mr. Baumgart if you get your account locked.

Due to changes caused by the update you must log on to your account on a computer or using the web browser on a tablet or smart phone before logging in on the app to prevent your account from potentially being locked. Due to the forecasted weather for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning, Franklin Public Schools will have a 2:00 PM early dismissal on Wednesday, February 15 and NO SCHOOL on Thursday, February 16. Parents there will be an update happening to PowerSchool on Thursday February 23rd. The update is to enhance security and create a single sign on system for PowerSchool users. Parent and Student accounts will be the main ones affected by this change. To prevent you account from potentially being locked out you will need to sign in using a computer or web browser on a tablet or phone before using the App. That will bring up the single sign on options and prevent your account from potentially being locked. The app does not have the features to complete the single sign on process. If you need help or have any questions contact Mr. Baumgart.
Reminder - Tuesday, 2/07 Franklin Public Schools will dismiss at 2:00pm for Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be held 2:30-8:00pm with all teachers available in the main gym. The high school office will also be open.
