Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing Senior Spotlights (in no particular order) for all of our amazing upcoming graduates as we count down to their big day! 🎉

Due to limited staffing, preschool will not be in session this Thursday, February 26th. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Preschool classes will resume, as normal, on Monday, March 2nd.

📚🍀 Read Across America Week is Almost Here! 🍀📚

March 2nd-6th : Franklin Elementary is celebrating the joy of reading all week long!

We kick things off with Family Literacy Night on Monday, March 2nd from 5:00–7:00 PM (Open House style — come anytime!). PK-5th grade students and families, join us for hands-on literacy activities, meaningful conversations around text, and a meal for families.

Throughout the week, classrooms will enjoy:
✨ Guest readers and authors
✨ Morning meetings featuring stories from Dr. Seuss
✨ Fun literacy activities

We’ll wrap up the celebration on Friday, March 6th with a special visit from author Jefferson Knapp!

Our Speech team has been in action the last two weekends! Congratulations to our medalists from Minden’s meet on 2/14! -Rosey Johnson placed 7th in Novice Informative. -Lilly Sterns placed 4th in Novice Poetry. Also from Elm Creek’s meet on 2/21! -Kaylen Jaide placed 4th in Novice Informative. -Rosey Johnson placed 5th in Novice Informative. The Flyers will be at TVC in Giltner this Wednesday! Good Luck!
