Updated Covid-19 Protocols for Activities - January 4th

Updated Covid-19 Protocols
Starting Monday, January 4th

Starting Monday, January 4th the NSAA in conjunction with local health departments and the Governor's office will be loosening Covid-19 protocols to the yellow.  Below is  a list of what will be different:

  1. There is no longer a restriction on who can attend games, therefore attendance is open to anyone.
  2. Capacity is still limited to 50% of your gyms rated capacity.  This means our main gym will be limited to 530 or less.
  3.  6 feet of separation is strongly recommended, but is no longer required.
  4. Masks are still REQUIRED for all spectators, bench personnel, and coaches, but remains optional for players in the game or match.

Please understand that we are still in discussion on what these lessened restrictions will mean for the Franklin Wrestling Invite coming up on Saturday, January 9th.  In the past this has been a very well attended event, and therefore, it is very unlikely that we will be able to just open it up like we have in a normal year.  We will be taking a lot of things into consideration, and do all that we can to try and allow as many people as we can while still considering the health and safety of our students, parents, grandparents, and spectators.  Please be watching our website, app, and/or Facebook page for the limitations that will be placed on this event.
