Volleyball @ TVC Tournament in Blue Hill
Saturday, October 17th
Schedule and Covid Protocol
Schedule:
- First game starts at 8:30 am with each game scheduled 2 hours apart
- All games will be played in Blue Hill's Main Competition Gym
- The Lady Flyers are the number one seed and will play their first game at 4:30 pm against the winner of Deshler (8)/Red Cloud (9) which will be played at 8:30 am
- There will not be "playback games" for this years tournament
- All Games will be the best 3 out of 5 sets with the 5th set to 15
Covid 19 Restrictions for Fans at TVC:
- Masks are optional for all spectators but highly encouraged.
- The gym will be cleared at the conclusion of each game before the next games fans will be allowed to enter.
- For Saturday's games tickets will be pre-sold to fans at $5 a piece. Each member of the Volleyball team (all players, student managers, and coaches) will have the opportunity to purchase 8 tickets in advance. No tickets will be sold the day of the tournament, and you will not be allowed admittance without a ticket.
- Physical distancing between family groups is strongly recommended.
Covid 19 Protocol for Players at TVC (Both Franklin and TVC Rules)
- Each school will be assigned a classroom for a waiting area and/or place to be in between games (TVC Rule)
- Games will try to be streamed to classrooms so the waiting teams can watch if they so choose (TVC Rule)
- Student athletes will not be allowed to intermingle with spectators or parents before and after games (TVC and Franklin Rule)
- Masks are optional for players (TVC and Franklin Rule)
- Masks are required for all bench personnel (assistant coaches, players, and student managers) - Franklin Rule
- Mask is optional for the Head Coach in order to more effectively communicate with players on the floor but strongly encouraged to be worn when not communicating (Franklin Rule)
