Flyer Football and Volleyball will be in action this Friday, September 4th @ Wauneta-Palisade.  Below is the schedule and COVID-19 Protocol for this event:

Schedule:

3:30 pm - JVVB in Palisade; Approximately 4:30 pm Varsity Volleyball in Palisade (206 North Reynolds Street)

7:00 pm - Varsity Football in Wauneta

(field is in the northwest corner of town to the north of the school

Volleyball:

Before/after the game

  • No spectators, parents, or fans will be allowed on the court before or after the game.  

  • After the game athletes and coaches should talk briefly if necessary and then go directly to the locker room.

Everyone will enter through the main gym entrance (east side of gym). 

  • All athletes, coaches, and spectators will have a contactless temperature check upon entering the gym. If anyone’s temperature reads 100.4 or higher they will not be allowed to enter the gym.

  • We encourage masks but do not require them

  • We encourage social distancing between family groups in the bleachers when possible

Warm-up and during the game

  • Teams will have separate racks of balls to use during warm ups.

  • Game balls will be cleaned and alternated regularly

  • Teams will not switch benches or sides of the net throughout the entire match.

Fans/spectators

  • all visiting fans will be asked to sit in the designated visitor’s section on the west end of the bleachers.

  • Home fans will sit in the designated home section on the east end of the bleachers

CONCESSIONS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE IN PALISADE

Football:

  • We encourage social distancing between family groups in the bleachers when possible

  • We will only have one concession stand - all workers will wear masks and food handlers will wear gloves
